O man! i got my writings messed up! Ok, i'll have to give you a briefing of what's going on, and you'll get the story if you continue to read on.... I'm in philadelphia for break before rotations. Ok these pics are from a movie. can you guess which one? the answer appears below in, of course another pic. Ha ha ha i love this game!

I got 2 wks break before I had to start my 1st rotation, so I went to hang out with one of my friends in Philadelphia. It was awesome. Of course I had to have a phili cheese steak while I was there. Here are some pics of phili..... Of course they are from a movie, which movie though? you'll have to figure it out :)

Here are some pics from the white coat ceremony. Apparently it's kind of big deal. I didn't know that, but it was nice. This is Steve Harris, my branch president as well as an amazing teacher!
This is the Leffert's. John is one of my instructors and they are also the young adult leaders for our branch. Pretty much they are totally the coolest!

These are some of my friends from school: Pam and Nate.

For spring break my parents came out to visit, since i was stressed about coming home and making it back for a test on Mon. It was so great to see them and get to hang out. We went to Washing D.C. for the week. And, yes, it was that cold. my face obviously tells the story. some "spring" break. We had a blast though. We walked a million miles, i think, waundering through as many smithsonians as we could. we each had our favorite places. i think mine was the museum of natural history. i noticed throughout our trip that everything i knew about, i learned from a movie or T.V. show. "night at the museum"- the natural history museum, wash DC in general, the West Wing, the Maryland school of arts- Step Up. Good thing i actually went there in person, so i could learn some "real" history. we had a blast, and it was a good trip. other than that, i'm still studying...... but only 4 weeks till the end of this semester!!! halalujah, i'm not sure how much longer i could sit in that seat, it has been a year. A year already, crazy! i'll be home before you know it.

George and I have the same idea about how life should be lived at home. This is Mount Vernon on the Potomic river

We went to the Museum of Natural History and it was AWESOME!! we went during the day though, so everything was in it's place and frozen. I didn't see Mr "you dumb dumb, me want gum gum" though. I should have thought about that while we were there.

This was as close as we got to the white house, but that's ok. i felt like CJ.... I've seen her walking down the street in, what looks like weather almost exactly like we had, in a West Wing episode. I kept looking for my friends, CJ, Josh, Sam, but i didn't see anyone. I guess they were all busy working hard.

O man, this was a phenomanol experience right here. We were looking in the space shuttle thing, and dad just kept trying to look closer and closer until WHAP! he smacked his head on the protective plastic. ha ha ha that was funny. it was so funny i had to take a picture. good times!

Well, I apologize, it has been a really long time since I have blogged. My bad. But better late, than never. I have been studying like crazy. In fact I should be studying for finals right now, but I decided to do this instead. I put some random pictures on to give you an idea of my life. As you can see, this is a picture of me coming home from church being followed by a horse and buggy. Awesome. As some of you may recognize, a few pictures down below is the Penn state Nittnany lion, that i am strangling. I still have some harbored feelings for the Nittany Lions. It's hard to let go O.K.? Actually, I decided I needed to go see them play, being that they have not lost a game.... that's right, not a match, but a game. They are truly undefeated. I had to see them play for myself. They are good. It was fun.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, I took a weekend off!!! Ah, good story! i finally went and saw it. Wicked was phenomenal and i loved it! it was so good, i think everyone should see it.... or at least listen to me sing it :) J/K
This was outside Gershwin Theatre before we went in to see the best show ever!
This was my first time to New York! I loved it. We weren't there very long, so I need to go back

Gettysburg

I know it's been i long time since I've done this. I can't believe how time flies. I saw Frankie's trip to New York though, and it instilled a new "blogger fever" in me.
Anyway, I finally decided I needed to start doing some things while I was out here, or I was going to be home and not done one thing. So I went to Gettysburg. It was a nice start on my list of little adventures. My roomate, Katie, one of classmates, and I drove down one Sat. We saw the visitors center and headed out to see the battle fields. Holy Moly, it was kind of amazing just how vast the area was. One day was plenty for me, just in case anyone decided to make a trip out of it after my elaborate and detailed description. It was pretty cool to see and to say I've done that. Just for an update. . . . school is good. It's hard. I'ts hard to stay focused especially at a pace like this. I'm tired, I'm not gonna lie. I'm already looking forward to X-mas. But thats ok. I heard once "it's the hard that makes it great" :)

I was helping Abe and his buddy figure it all out. They looked confused. So I was showing them the way

Gettysburg

This is the Gettysburg Address. If anybody pronounced in Get-ees-burg like I did, we were mistaken as I quickly learned. Apparently it's pronounced Get-iss-burg. I'm not sure if I really believe that, but that's what the "locals" say.

I hope you never have to "Dew" this

So here is the real reason for my post...... I have continually been telling people how busy I am. I'm sure they think, ya, well so am I, which they probably are. However, I had an experience today that truly explains my situation. I bought a new pack of pens 2 weeks ago for school. I have been using the same pen for 2 weeks. I don't actually take notes with these pens because I take notes in class on my computer. However, I do use them to make note cards with, so I can study. Today, my pen that I bought 2 weeks ago.... ran out. Yes, it's true, it RAN OUT! I have never in my entire life had a pen run out me, let alone in 2 weeks. I believe this is truly an amazing feat. I know what you're thinking though ... I sure hope Wendy's hand is ok. Well, don't you worry, I ice at night, stretch in the morning and before I go to bed. FALSE. But that would be funny if I really did do that.

these are just some pics of my room. I know it's messy, but that is the least of my worries at this point.
